The power is on! Two weeks ago, all progress on the house came to a halt. We were ready for flooring to be installed but permanent electric was not connected yet and the flooring company requires heat and lighting before they come in. Thanks to Karl Walters we were able to quickly get our trench dug. The next day the electrical inspector came out to inspect the box and the trench. Once inspected it was still another week of waiting until Penn Power was able to connect the permanent electric and disconnect the temporary. Yesterday they finished all of the wiring and now we have lights. It was only two weeks but at this stage of construction where we are chomping at the bit to get into our new home it felt like an eternity. Installation of the tile flooring begins Thursday.
